Memorial Park Model Railway. 1970's saw the Model Engineering Society install a model rail line in the Memorial Park adjacent to the Kenilworth Road.. In this area was children's swings and a donkey ride. The area was disbanded for reasons unknown. Ryton Pools Model Railway offers reapportion for a rail ride. The train Linda is currently being repaired and may once again run.
